The Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) made a triumphant return to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre in July, after three years away thanks to the pandemic. Co-located with Decor + Design, it was an inspirational destination for the 8,000+ trade visitors who attended over four days. The event featured 150 exhibitors from across indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, textiles and art.
LaForma Australia’s stand was a highlight at the combined event, as they unveiled their Spring-Summer ’22 collections, for both indoor and out. Visitors feasted on beautiful palettes of dusty pinks and pastels offset by dark, moody and monochrome colourways.
“Exhibiting at Decor + Design is a highlight on our event calendar,” says Jodie Hansen, National Sales Manager at LaForma. “We loved experiencing the first reactions to our new products and sharing the excitement and buzz with attendees.”
Traditionally in the wholesale-only space, LaForma also launched their new retail brand at the show, Kave Home Australia. This gives them a 360-degree offering in the furniture, design and decoration industry.
Kave Home is a selection of high-quality, sustainable furniture and homewares designed in Spain. The first Kave Home store has also now opened in Sydney’s Alexandria design district.
Sustainability Meets Style
LaForma and Kave Home Australia always ensure quality in the manufacturing process, with sustainability at the core of company values.
“We’ll always be committed to making things better,” says Jodie Hansen. “We keep our responsibility to the planet and humanity at the forefront of everything we do and are extremely proud of all our sustainability-related projects and collaborations.”
Their sustainable approach covers a whole range of aspects, from raw materials to production processes, suppliers, the company and its facilities, the design process, social responsibility and much more.
For the first time, Kave Home also dressed the stage for the prestigious Decor + Design Seminar Series, which featured star speakers such as David Hicks, David Flack, Collette Dinnigan, Shaynna Blaze, Jamie Durie, Jason Grant, Anna Spiro and Adelaide Bragg.
The Kave Home team curated a stunning vignette as a backdrop for the speakers, with soft and textured textiles, beautiful lights and pastel tones.
Kave Pro Brings Exclusive Benefits to the Design Industry
LaForma and Kave Home currently work with an amazing cross section of commercial projects, with large hotel groups as part of their portfolio. They are also working hand-in-hand with talented architects on beautiful residential homes.
The Kave Pro program also launched at Decor + Design 2022. This is a professional service for interior designers, architects, hotel chains and property managers which helps them create projects which are iconic and unique. It offers exclusive benefits such as trade pricing, multiple logistics options and no minimum order.
