Finding the right stone surface for a design project can feel like a Sisyphean task. While aesthetics are important, durability and sustainability are also key.

AC Stone‘s ability to combine these considerations is fast making the group a sought-after supplier of engineered quartz stone and porcelain products for Australian interiors. We’re delighted that they will be showcasing their latest collections at the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) and Decor + Design, 14 – 17 July 2022 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

AC Stone’s high-quality engineered stone reproduces the look and style of natural stone at a price that’s more competitive, particularly for large-scale projects. However, the products are still made of natural quartz, which means it has a similar aesthetic, excellent resistance and durability.

Environmentally Friendly, Beautifully Engineered Stone

AC Stone aligns with industry-leading technology to provide the newest designs to the market, with a focus on quality, environmentally friendly materials. In late 2022, AC Stone will bring 25% silica quartz stone products to the Australian market, which has the same strength and durability.

As an interior designer or architect, it’s essential when choosing surfaces for clients that the product is fully compliant. The team at AC Stone believe in delivering a high standard of service to their clients and offer 15 years limited warranty on products, well beyond the normal industry standard. In addition:

  • AC Stone is compliant with the International Health and Safety Foundation sanitary standard NSF51, which guarantees that its quartz-based surfaces are safe for use in all food environments.
  • AC Stone is registered with Greenguard Certification, which ensures that their products have met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air. Widely adopted as a trusted standard for low-emitting products, Greenguard identifies healthier products and provides manufacturers with tools to legitimise and promote sustainability efforts.
  • In addition, the Greenguard Gold standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals. It requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.
