The 19th edition of Decor + Design & the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) will take place in Australia’s design capital of Melbourne from 13 – 16 July 2023.

We are delighted to announce that the theme for 2023 is Elevate. The show will have an increased focus on Australian Made furniture and socially conscious design that factors in the environment and the community.

Decor + Design & AIFF 2022

Australasia’s only truly 360-degree event for the interiors and furniture industry, Decor + Design & the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF) is an important annual destination for retail chains, independent retailers, commercial buyers, and designers. Leading exhibitors will showcase indoor and outdoor furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, textiles and art.

In 2023, the show will feel different.

We want to inspire people in how they think about design – how they buy and how they connect.

For the first time, the show will be open later on its first day, Thursday 13th July, with extended hours until 7pm for the industry to network together over drinks, giving exhibitors the opportunity to invite key clients.

We will elevate the many different faces of Australian Design.

The 19th edition will provide a platform for Australian Made and First Nations design collectives. The VIVID Design Awards will also nurture the brightest emerging talent in design. We will explore the latest innovations in design in the metaverse as well the physical realm.

In 2023, the show will look different.

Our exhibitors will elevate the show’s aesthetics through thoughtful curation and standout collections, while UK Futurists Scarlet Opus will lead tours around the exhibition to identify directional products, helping visitors optimise their visit.

High-profile design personalities will present Inspirational Showcases and Practical Design Tools at the Decor + Design Seminar Series. A new stream will discuss The Future of Design and the ways the industry can elevate design to address the challenges facing the world today.
