Even in the colder months, Australians love to live outdoors. This winter in Melbourne, The Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF), will be showcasing some of the best in stylish outdoor furniture. Co-located with Decor + Design, Australia’s premier interior design trade event, the show will take place from Wednesday 17th – Friday 19th July at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Here are chic furnishings for ‘the green room’, from our three of our 2024 exhibitors, Korbetts, Luxi Living and Business & Pleasure.

Founded in 2005, Korbetts has become a favourite partner of Australian manufacturers and retailers, known as a diverse and integrated distributor.  It is part of the ARK Parts Group of companies.

Providing end-to-end product management, Korbetts look after production, stocking, logistics and merchandising, as well as after sales support.

Korbetts supply products from leading international brands, with a focus on innovative brands that are looking to expand into the Australian market. They also develop and manufacture their own brand of products, allowing them to bring customers high quality, unique and reliable products at an affordable price point.

We love their range of Cocoon Hanging Chairs, particularly the Domo Olefin (pictured). This soothing bubble is perfect for curling up out in the garden, relaxing in nature or in an indoor-outdoor living room. It’s ideal for kids too – throw in a few blankets and books and they will be happy for hours.

Luxi Living

Luxi Living believe that your outdoor spaces should be an extension of your lifestyle—an oasis where sophistication meets affordability. They are on a mission is to provide their clients with the finest outdoor furniture, shading structures, and lifestyle solutions that not only withstand the Australian elements but also elevate the outdoor living experience. It is affordable luxury at its best.

The brand recently arrived in Melbourne, having begun life in a small Trade Me shop in Dunedin, New Zealand. 2020 was a game-changer, with the introduction of the Living Culture brand and their massive 1800sqm Auckland showroom. The success fuelled the ambition to expand and Luxi Living emerged as the natural evolution in Australia. Their new flagship showroom in Melbourne allows customers to immerse themselves in a world of outdoor inspiration and unmatched quality.

We love the comfort and style of the NOVA PE Rattan Outdoor Sofa Set, which will transform a garden space. Generously sized, it is expertly crafted to seat 4-6 people. It also features a robust coffee table with a sleek tempered glass tabletop.

Another great piece is the Cyrus Outdoor Lounge Dining Set, pictured in the top image of this article. Complete with a spacious 3-seater sofa, two cosy club chairs and two footstools that can be used as seats, the Cyrus can comfortably seat seven people and has everything you need for elegant outdoor entertaining.

Business & Pleasure

Mixing business with pleasure is always desirable. Exhibiting at Decor + Design alongside AIFF, Business & Pleasure Co. is motivated by a love of all things vintage and quality. Established in 2016, it has grown to become a renowned furniture and lifestyle company that captures the nostalgia and charm of vintage aesthetics through outdoor products.

Designed to be timeless and durable, we love the gorgeous yellow outdoor loungers pictured. Perfect for chic picnics in the sun at any time of year.
