We’re delighted that Calibre will be exhibiting at Decor + Design and the Australian International Furniture Fair (AIFF), 14 – 17 July in Melbourne.

Established in 2009, Calibre is a contemporary Australian trade and wholesale furniture supplier. Based on simple, unique, and modern design aesthetics, Calibre Furniture brings quality and new design to Australian interiors.

With a passion for design, excellent craftsmanship, and fair pricing, they provide the industry with the highest quality furniture. They also create exclusive customised ranges for clients and tailored packages for large commercial projects.

In the lead up to the event, we spoke with Bill Huynh, Managing Director of Calibre, about what visitors can expect to see!

Bill, can you tell us a bit more about Calibre?

At Calibre Furniture, we combine our love for beautiful design, quality materials, and honest pricing to provide industry professionals with access to the most distinctive and exclusive furniture pieces.

Dedicated to challenging the traditional industry, we work with our production partners to ensure quality is achieved at every step.

What’s the guiding design aesthetic behind your furniture?

The Calibre Furniture product palette is expressive and comprehensive and because of that, it can be incorporated into any interior setting – whether it be a residential home, where comfort and function is at the core focus – or commercial settings, where the emphasis is on a strong and striking signature design.

What’s the first half of 2022 been like for you?

With the ever-evolving supply chain challenges’, we have focused our attention to optimise our logistic and operations side of the business. We have continued to work closely with our team to develop a great product portfolio that continues to grow.  After the pandemic lockdown and cancellations of the last two years we look forward to welcoming and catching up with our existing and new clients!

Any exciting recent clients/projects you can share with us?

With our new 12,000 sqm warehouse facility nearing completion at the end of July, we are very excited to relocate to our brand-new HQ. Our supply chain has been predominantly focused on fulfilling growth and servicing customers with a holistic strategy.

The new facility will assist in optimising inventory levels and increasing productivity, with our customers directly benefiting from reduced lead times and improved service. Our new HQ and DC will support our multi-year growth plan to expand and cater to all aspects of our business.
